LZ-9.5 Series LVIT Miniature Inductive Linear Position Sensor with Built-In Electronics
Moorestown, New Jersey, December 12, 2022…H. G. Schaevitz LLC, Alliance Sensors Group has expanded its sensor product line utilizing LVIT Technology™ by adding the LZ-9.5 Series of miniature linear position sensors. Designed and manufactured in Moorestown, NJ, USA, the LZ-9.5 series LVITs are contactless devices for use by OEMs and in factory automation or assembly machinery applications, anywhere sensor space is at a premium.
These miniature LVITs are offered in nominal full scale ranges from 6.4 to 150 mm (0.25 to 6 inches) with DCV in / DCV out electronics built into the sensor, eliminating any need for separate signal conditioning. The sensor has a 9.5 mm (0.375 inch) outside diameter stainless steel body with a 1-m long axial cable for I/O connections. The 4.75 mm (0.187 inch) diameter through-bore of an LZ-13 provides clearance for its 2.4 mm (0.096 inch) diameter stainless steel target rod, which also means that these sensors will not be damaged by mechanical overstroking.
LZ-13 Features:
- LVIT Technology™ (Linear Variable Inductance Transducer)
- Contactless operation prevents wearout from dithering or rapid cycling
- Excellent stroke-to-body-length ratio
- Full Scale ranges from 6.4 to 150 mm (0.25 to 6 inches)
- Built-in electronics offer several DC voltage I/Os
- Proprietary SenSet™ field adjustable range scaling
