Designed for fast, intuitive setup and maximum system integrity, the S2A is engineered to operate with the widest range of LVDTs, RVDTs, and inductive half-bridge sensors on the market. The S2A delivers more diagnostic capability than any other stand-alone LVDT signal conditioner currently available. Setup time is dramatically reduced—by as much as 10×—through the S2A’s intelligent, microprocessor-based calibration process. Calibration is accomplished simply by pressing the front-panel Zero and Full Scale buttons, allowing the unit to automatically configure itself to the connected LVDT. For added flexibility, the S2A can also be configured remotely via a computer using its integrated RS-485 communication port.
