LZ-13 LVIT linear position sensor
LZ-13 Series Miniature Linear Position Sensor s
Compact Linear Position Sensors featuring small size and superior stroke-to-body-length ratio

The LZ-13 Series of contactless miniature linear position sensors are used in many applications for factory automation or assembly machinery, particularly where installation space is limited. Using LVIT (Linear Variable Inductance Transducer) technology, these compact, DC-operated position sensors with a wide variety of I/Os offer excellent stroke-to-body-length ratios. Technical datasheets and additional information can be found below. Technical datasheets and additional information can be found at www.alliancesensors.com. Offered in 9 nominal full-scale ranges from 2.5 to 200 mm (0.1 to 8.0 inches), they feature a 12.7 mm (0.50 inch) diameter stainless steel body with a 4.75 mm (0.187 inch) diameter thru-bore. They utilize a 4 mm (0.156 inch) diameter SS core with an M4 end thread and jam nut to measure the core position inside this thru-bore, which keeps the sensor from being damaged by typical mechanical overstroking. I/O connections are made via a multi-conductor cable 1 m long.
